Client Requirement
A well-established distributor of medical consumables needed to implement EDI connections with two major retail groups. Both partners required AS2-based transmission of orders, shipping notices, and invoices, with strict format validation and structured testing. Internally, however, the client lacked the bandwidth and know-how to manage technical onboarding or to maintain the connections long-term.

Goals
The aim was to ensure fast and frictionless onboarding of both retail partners, build compliant AS2 connections, and minimize the client’s internal involvement. The integration should be future-proof, fully monitored, and run without day-to-day operational burden on the client’s IT or logistics teams.

Solution
inSyca handled the full onboarding and integration life cycle as a managed service. Our team directly engaged with both retail partners to clarify data formats, message timing, and transport requirements. We managed the entire AS2 setup, including certificates, endpoint routing, and structured test cases. All mapping and validation rules were aligned with the client’s ERP outputs, ensuring correct order, delivery, and invoice flow. After go-live, we assumed full responsibility for monitoring, support, and ongoing partner updates, with proactive incident resolution and regular performance insights.
